If you are trying to use a Sony Playstation Eye Camera on your octo print and it is not working, first – ssh (or pull up the local console) and execute:

lsusb 

and you should see

Bus 001 Device 036: ID 1415:2000 Nam Tai E&E Products Ltd. or OmniVision Technologies, Inc. Sony Playstation Eye

Now – add the following line to the /boot/firmware/octoprint.txt file

camera_usb_options=”-y -q 75 -f 1″

Tested on octoprint 1.11.2
