KDE Plasma Keyboard Shortcuts
I switched to KDE Plasma on my Fedora 43 desktop, and ran into some minor annoyances
I am so used to using CTRL-F4 to close a tab – I wanted that back
To do that – start System Setting (/usr/bin/systemsettings) On the left side – select Keyboard – in the new column that appeared select Shortcuts – a new column appears – find Window Management – now in the far right column – scroll down and select Switch to Desktop 4. Uncheck the box next to “Ctrl+F4” If you like multiple virtual desktops – assign a new keyboard shortcut at this time
Now – in the 3rd column — scroll down and select File. Find select Close in the right hand column – click the “Add” button – the press “Ctrl+F4” on your keyboard. Done!
